[PRE-ORDER] M24 Chaffee Suspension Upgrade Set – Neutral

Description

Tamiya’s recent 1/35 M24 Chaffee is a great kit, but its suspension is pretty basic. Our upgrade set replaces the kit’s torsion arms and shock absorbers with more finely detailed components that bring some much-needed character to the running gear.

Based on the real Chaffee suspension, these replacement components feature improved shapes, cast texture, welds, shock absorber fasteners, and other mechanical details missing from the kit parts.

Designed for a level suspension stance, the Neutral set is a straightforward detail upgrade that installs just like the original Tamiya parts. There’s no weird kit surgery needed – just snipping off the locating tabs on the kit’s torsion arm hull mounts.

Features:

• Detailed replacement torsion arms and shock absorber assemblies in a neutral position
• Improved cast texture, welds, fasteners, and mechanical details
• Installs just like the original kit parts, after removing the torsion arm locating tabs
• Designed specifically for the Tamiya 1/35 M24 Chaffee

Please note: The rearmost suspension units, which also incorporate linkage to the idler wheel mounts, are not included in this set in order to keep pricing down. A separate Rear Suspension Upgrade is planned.
