Upgrade your Trumpeter 1/32 P-47 kit with these 3D-printable P-47N Thunderbolt wheels. This set features highly detailed diamond-tread 34×9.9 tires, commonly seen on P-47Ns in World War II. Compared with the diamond treads seen on earlier P-47s, those on the P-47N had more squared-off shoulders and a distinctive pattern where the diamond treads crossed onto the sidewalls. 

Unlike earlier Thunderbolt wheels, the P-47N used 8-spoke wheels with GE multi-disc brakes, replacing the older drum brakes that were prone to fading. To match, the tires were slightly wider, 34×9.9 versus 34×9, providing a larger contact patch to handle the improved braking. These advantages were so significant that most surviving, airworthy P-47s of all variants now fly on P-47N-style wheels.
