With our 1/16 T16 worn track set, we focused on delivering superior detail, presence, and an assembly experience that blows away any other Stuart tracks in any scale.

• Authentic Worn Texture: Tracks follow wear patterns observed on real Stuart T16 tracks, from early signs of wear at the outside edges to the exposed steel and cracked rubber. This track set features 12 different worn track variations so your tracks won’t look like a copy-paste exercise.
• Engineered for Your Comfort: Workable tracks can be a fussy affair, and that’s even more true for the double-pin, end connector-style tracks used by the Stuart and Sherman. We’ve ditched frustrating press-fit connections that tend to snap or back out at the worst possible moments. We didn’t even consider the trap-style approach or the other half-dozen tortuous approaches out there. Our integrated pin design makes assembly a breeze, and utilizes a small dab of PVA glue (like Ammo Ultra Glue or Mod Podge) for a secure fit. This method is incredibly forgiving—if a pin snaps on a press-fit design, the track is ruined. Our system allows for minor adjustments and guarantees a solid, long-lasting connection.

Historical Context

The Stuart Light Tank

The M3 and M5 series of light tanks, collectively known as the Stuart, were the primary US light tanks of WWII. Highly mobile and reliably armored early in the war, they served with the US, British, Free French, and numerous other Allied forces.

T16 Track

The T16 is the track associated with the Stuart. The reversible rubber block was lighter than all-steel tracks and provided a smooth ride on roads.

Some late- and post-war Stuarts used the all-steel T36E6 track, which, while heavier and rougher riding, gave superior traction in sloppy terrain like mud, snow, and sand. But even then, T16s were still a common sight.

Vehicles Using the T16 Track

The T16 is a safe choice for any Stuart or Stuart-based vehicle. There’s not a variant that didn’t use it.

As of December 2025, the only Stuarts available in 1/16 are the Classy Hobby family. All of these are solid candidates for T16s.
