Upgrade your MiniArt 1/48 P-47 kit with these 3D-printable P-47N Thunderbolt wheels. This set features diamond-tread 34×9.9 tires with Type “B” wheels. These wheels were a less common variation but still seen on wartime P-47Ns, as well as on a number of surviving P-47s.

Unlike earlier Thunderbolt wheels, the P-47N used 8-spoke wheels with GE multi-disc brakes, replacing the older drum brakes that were prone to fading. To match, the tires were slightly wider, 34×9.9 versus 34×9, providing a larger contact patch to handle the improved braking. These advantages were so significant that most surviving, airworthy P-47s of all variants now fly on P-47N-style wheels.
